RC of Oro Valley Superheroes ASSEMBLE!
Lauren Burgoyne Hollick is a speaker, storyteller, and the Founder, Executive Director
and Chief Superhero at The Greater Purpose Project nonprofit organization. She
serves on the Pima County Behavioral Health Coalition and helped mastermind the
FIRST ever Youth Mental Health Summit in Tucson last spring.

On an epic day, you’ll ll find Lauren rocking a neon green tutu, superhero cape, and
gold high tops. It’s the uniform that she wears during school assemblies for The
Greater Purpose Project! Lauren’s passion is helping young people discover their
SUPER POWERS of helping others!

“There is a Superhero in All of Us” is the mantra that has guided Lauren’s work
throughout her professional career.

Before Lauren started wearing a superhero cape to work, she was a television news
reporter, anchor, TV host, and executive producer of TV shows like Destination Arizona.
She spent nearly a decade waking up at 1 AM to bring you the news in cities across
the US, including Tucson and Phoenix. Her career includes starting a boutique digital
marketing company and being the Marketing and Communications Director for the
YMCA of Southern Arizona.

Lauren is supported by an amazing husband Glen (AKA Batman) who also rocks a
cape at school assemblies when he’s available. They have two black labs (Holly and
Blaze) and love to travel to Glen’s homeland Australia and chase waterfalls here in
Tucson.
