Over the past few years, Oro Valley Rotary has developed an exceptional list of speakers for the benefit of our members. As such, our program has been seen as one of the best in our Rotary District:

  • Twice a year, each of the five high schools in Oro Valley, sends students to present on a pre-chosen topic. The students are selected by their school councilors for their academic and extra-curricular achievements and financial needs. At the end of the year, community college scholarships are awarded to the highest scoring students. This activity helps to develop the students’ presentation skills and provides an opportunity for our members to connect with local youth.
  • In addition to our student speakers, our members make recommendations for engaging local (including the University of Arizona) and state speakers to present to our members. Topics have typically been wide-ranging, drawn from science, economics, history, politics and local interest. These speeches have been very popular drawing visitors from the community and other Rotary Clubs.
Meetings: Every Thursdays at 6:45 AM for our Morning Club members and every second and fourth Monday of the month at 5:45 PM for our Evening Club members
