We started the evening with writing notes of appreciation, encouragement, and support to be shared with teachers at CDO.
Jim Nook introduced the community service project and shared several thoughts about teachers in our lives and the toll that recent events is taking on classroom teachers. The notes were no for specific teachers, but will be shared as a group, along with some sweet treats.
Community Service Opportunities
The focus on community service continued through the evening with both listing some projects that are already on the calendar. (See Stacey’s recent emails) Also, a good give and take conversation about future projects the group at the meeting felt would be good for club participation. Watch for future emails, Sign-Up Genius invitations, and a sign-up list at club meetings for times and dates for these activities.
